Jennifer George Nkutuffok LLB, BL, A.DRI, FIMC, CMC is a seasoned professional with a diverse background encompassing law, management consulting, leadership development and social entrepreneurship. She holds a LLB in Law and a BL from the Nigerian Law School, and is recognized as an Associate of the International Dispute Resolution Institute (UNCITRAL), as well as a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) and Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants.
Jennifer is deeply committed to advocating for the rights of marginalized groups, particularly women and children. Her initiatives range from supporting women empowerment and gender equality to combating societal injustices such as the stigmatization and abuse of vulnerable children, as exemplified in her work with the Nigerian Humanist Movement and Stepping Stones International.
With a strong belief in nurturing future generations, Jennifer has dedicated herself to mentoring and educating youths. She volunteered as a Teens Mentor and teacher at a rehabilitation center, and founded a teens initiative, offering free coaching to secondary school students preparing for Secondary School Certificate Examination and JAMB examinations.
Throughout her career, Jennifer has held leadership roles that underscore her ability to inspire and drive change. She served prominently in the Family and Child Law Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association, where she played a pivotal role in organizing a UNICEF-sponsored conference aimed at influencing policy to protect vulnerable women and children, supported by key stakeholders including the Nigerian Police Force and National Human Rights Commission.
Jennifer’s professional journey includes roles as a Research Assistant in a law firm, Company Secretary and Legal Adviser at a consulting firm and Editor, showcasing her versatility and expertise in legal practice and corporate governance.
Her leadership extends to national roles such as National Secretary of the Christian Law Students’ Fellowship of Nigeria and Vice President of the Christian Lawyers’ Fellowship of Nigeria, Nigerian Law School.
Jennifer is a respected thought leader and speaker, frequently invited to share insights on topics ranging from family system engineering to mental wellbeing, leadership and productivity. She is certified in Leadership Development and Project Management, enhancing her capacity to lead and manage impactful initiatives.
Jennifer is Country Chair for G100, Child Care, Protection, and Parenting- a global organization with a strong focus on achieving gender parity. Under her leadership, she successfully expanded the organization’s footprint across 7 states in Nigeria, fostering a widespread membership base and coordinating activities nationwide.
Currently serving as a Judge at a Customary Court for over a decade, Jennifer has adjudicated over 400 matrimonial and child custody cases, prioritizing the welfare of vulnerable children through meticulous guardianship placements.
